Recent fact checks
A clip is being shared on social media with claims it shows footage from a London-bound plane that crashed in Ahmedabad in India on 12 June.
This is not what the video shows. It was actually taken during a different plane crash that happened in Nepal in January 2023.
It’s been claimed a clip shows Iranian missiles launched against Israel in retaliation for Israel’s attack on Iranian nuclear sites on 13 June 2025.
This footage is old and dates back to October 2024, although it does appear to show Iranian missiles targeting Israel.
Mayor of London Sadiq Khan claimed an average skilled migrant worker contributes over £15,000 a year more to the UK economy than a British skilled worker.
Mr Khan’s figures appear to have been taken from a Migration Advisory Committee study, but this isn’t exactly what it shows.
